The default skin looks like this, and the World Community Grid skin looks like this. The skin shows only for the "Simple GUI". Not really knowing just what a "skin" is supposed to look like or how it is supposed to behave, I'm not sure if the manager is a skin or not (sorry about my ignorance of these things).
It opens what has been the Linux version manager window in older versions of BOINC. This is Linux, 2.6.18, boinc_5.9.4_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh.ĭoes it show the skin anyway, even with those errors? I assume I just don't know what I'm doing and would appreciate a hint or two. I've read through all the directions about skins, placing the skin.xml file in BOINC/skins/World Community Grid (I've also tried "simple" with no luck).
